How this works - Craps Simulator
Methodology, formula, sources, and limitations.
Approach
Simulate dice rolls and resolve pass-line bets. Pass wins on 7/11 immediately, loses on 2/3/12, otherwise sets a point and wins by hitting it before a 7.
Formula
Pass-line P(win) = 244 / 495 = 49.29% Don't-pass P(win) = 949/1980 = 47.93% House edge: pass 1.41%, don't-pass 1.36%
Limitations & assumptions
Edge values and probabilities are exact for stated rule sets. Real casinos vary slightly. Results are statistical expectations, not guarantees.

Skipping odds because they pay even money
FixOdds are paid at true odds, not even money. They're the only zero-edge bet on the felt.
About the Craps Simulator
Craps is a dice game built around two six sided dice and the 36 combinations they produce. This simulator rolls the dice and resolves the Pass Line come out and point cycle so you can see how a session unfolds.
The dice math
Seven is the most common total, coming up on 6 of 36 rolls, which is why it wins on the come out but loses once a point is set. On the come out roll, 7 or 11 wins the Pass Line and 2, 3 or 12 loses. Any other number becomes the point, and you then need to roll it again before a 7 appears.
Edges to know
The Pass Line carries a 1.41% house edge, one of the best bets available. Odds bets behind the line pay true odds at 0% edge. Prop bets in the middle of the layout carry double digit edges and drain a bankroll quickly.
Every roll is independent. Dice have no memory, so hot shooter streaks are variance, not a pattern you can bet into.
Play responsibly. This tool is for education and entertainment. Gambling always favours the house over time. Set a budget, treat any loss as the price of the fun, and never chase losses.
